Keep your harness looking its best with a little regular care. While designed for durability, proper maintenance will help extend the life and finish of your product.
Wipe clean regularly using a soft cloth or brush to remove dirt and debris
For deeper cleaning, use a small amount of mild soap with warm water
The webbing straps may be gently hand washed if needed, but take care to keep the microfiber trims out of the water
Gently wipe the microfiber trims and avoid over-saturating the material
Always dry with a clean cloth after cleaning
If wet, blot away moisture as soon as possible
Allow to air dry naturally at room temperature
Avoid drying near radiators, heaters, or with a hairdryer
Store in a cool, dry place when not in use
Allow the product to air out naturally between uses
The microfiber trims are designed to be low-maintenance and do not require conditioning
Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners

The Y-front sits on the breastbone, clear of the throat, so when your dog pulls the load spreads across the chest. It takes pressure off the neck when correctly fitted, and the lightweight webbing leaves the shoulders free to move.

Questions
My dog is between two sizes. Which should I choose?
Size up. Measure the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and check the chest range for each size.
Will it fit a very small dog or puppy?
XS fits chests from 25 cm, with 1 cm straps, and the straps adjust as puppies grow. One owner of a 2 kg Pomeranian puppy told us it fitted closely where other harnesses let his legs slip through. Always measure first.
Harness or collar?
The harness spreads the lead's pull across the chest, so it suits dogs that pull. Many owners keep a collar on for ID tags and clip the lead to the harness.
Does it really take pressure off the neck?
Yes, when correctly fitted. The Y-front sits on the breastbone rather than the throat. Check that you can slide two fingers under each strap.
I bought a BARC harness before. Is my size the same?
Not necessarily. City 2.0 strap proportions were updated from customer feedback, so please re-measure before you order.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the microfibre leather trims with a damp cloth. The webbing can be gently hand washed, keeping the trims as dry as you can. Don't machine wash, and let it air dry.
