It's coming to the end of the gifting season and as Christmas draws ever closer, panic buying is most likely setting in for some of us. Which is why we headed up to see our Barc London display in the Harvey Nichols Gifting Pop-up in Manchester Deansgate Square.
Christmas Pop-up at Deansgate Square
The new development at Deansgate square is described as elegant spacious apartments across four carefully designed towers, delivering a new level of city centre living to Manchester. Marrying together luxury living with unprecedented private on-site amenities in an iconic location at the heart of one of the world's most liveable cities, and best of all they are all dog friendly.
As we arrived at the new luxury towers, it was full with people coming and going, busy commuting to work or struggling with Christmas shopping bags. We were blown away with the level of detail and the amenities that this new living location included but overall we were just happy that every other person seemed to have their dog in tow.
Barc London's pop-up display
Included in the tower block location were general stores and spaces for more retail outlets to be located to fill the needs of the residents, which is where our friends Harvey Nichols have pitched up with their Gifting Pop-up Store offering people a wide selection of ideas for Christmas presents to either treat yourself, loved ones or most importantly your furry best friend.
It was amazing to see our small and growing brand showcased in a beautifully well-presented store alongside other world famous luxury brands. We were even more ecstatic to find out that Barc London is one of the best selling brands in-store outselling some top makeup brands showcased. Go us! And more importantly, go dogs!
We were front and centre of the store with our display being the first thing you saw when you entered. Showcasing our range of collars, leads, toys & our new Rain Macs.
When we arrived, we apparently just missed a Shiba Inu being treated by his loving owner to a new cream Rain Mac, although we were soon met with even more resident dogs.
Opening hours
There is still time to visit the Pop-up store if you're based in Manchester or fancy making the trip for a day of shopping. If you are one of those last minute people and need a little help from Harvey Nichols who has curated an amazing selection of gifts, they are open daily 11:30am - 8pm, and the pop-up is running to 31st December.
Exciting times ahead
Launching on Harvey Nichols online is one of our 2021 highlights and something we are extremely proud of. This lovely physical shopping experience of Barc London is just a little taste of what's to come as we look to do more pop ups in 2022, and with all being well and good, will enter into the main Harvey Nichols store in early 2022.
